Aim of the project:

The main objective of the project is to provide analysis and intelligence on policy developments worldwide on specific topics relating to innovation and innovation policy. The services will constitute the "INNO-GRIPS" pillar of the Commission's PRO-INNO Europe portal (www.proinno-europe.eu), an initiative of DG Industry and Entrepreneurship which aims to become the focal point for innovation policy analysis, learning and development in Europe. Lot 1 deliverables in each year of contract duration are:

• 2 Policy Briefs on specific topics regarding innovation policy
• 2 Newsletters covering general topics on innovation policy
• 2 Workshops to discuss the findings of the Policy Briefs and/or other ad hoc topic

The tender was awarded to a consortium composed of empirica Gesellschaft für Kommunikations- und Technologieforschung mbH (www.empirica.com) and ICEG European Center.
